Music is very important in the life of Christ Church. We have a lively and successful choir and a fine organ.

mark Mark Elliott is Director of Music at Christ Church. He studied Music and Computer Science at Keele University where he was organ scholar. Mark is also a Church of England Reader and when not directing music at Christ Church he works for a financial software company in Yate.   David Winters is Organist and Assistant Director of Music. He started learning to play the organ in his teens and his first “job” was at St John’s Church, Epping, as the Assistant Organist. He then went on to an Organ Scholarship at the University of Southampton and it was whilst studying there that he gained his ARCO. In his professional life, David is as a doctor working in Emergency Medicine.
  Will Beech joined Christ Church as Organ Scholar in the autumn of 2022. He is a student at the University of Bath.
