Our Traidcraft stall opens for business after the 10am service on the first and third Sundays of the month - check the online calendar for exact dates. It sells a wide variety of Fair Trade products, from tea and coffee, through biscuits and other sweet treats to more unusual Fair Trade items like kitchen roll! You can also pick up a Traidcraft catalogue and order from a wider range of goods. These can be browsed in the online Traidcraft shop, but if you order via our Traidcraft stall, you can avoid the postage and packing costs.
Traidcraft was established in 1979 as a Christian response to poverty, and combines a trading company and a development charity. Its mission is to fight poverty through trade, by practising and promoting approaches to trade that help poor people in developing countries transform their lives. It builds lasting relationships with producers, supports people to trade out of poverty and works to bring about trade justice.
We are very grateful to Judith Bishop and Sally Churchyard for all the hard work they put into the running the stall. If you would be able to help occasionally, please let them know.
